Connection is one of the most rewarding and difficult elements of the human experience. Maia works collaboratively with individuals to help disrupt dysfunctional patterns and improve relationships. If you feel like your anxiety, depression, and self-esteem have gotten in the way of enjoying life to the fullest, therapy can be a helpful way to challenge yourself and try something new. Maia specializes her work with clients working to navigate interpersonal conflict, grief & loss, and low self-esteem & body-image.

As a therapist certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Maia also draws on knowledge from Attachment Theories, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Adlerian to provide individualized care to each of her clients. She emphasizes creating a non-judgemental space and uses a warm, gentle approach to help clients explore their thoughts and feelings. As a provider, Maia aligns with the principles of Health At Every Size (HAES) and multiculturally competent counseling in order to provide accessible care to people of all different intersections, identities, and bodies.

Maia Wilson is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) who has experience working with individuals in both private practice and higher education settings. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Clark Honors College at the University of Oregon and a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counselor from Adler University in Chicago, IL.
